So-Chem's Product Formulation Process

SO-CHEM’s process of customising a chemical product is simple:

  1. Hold Discussions with client and understand their process.
  2. Collect chemical free samples of the fluids and conduct field/lab test evaluation of the collected fluids.
  3. Identify product(s) and generate report based on field/lab test evaluation.

For emulsion breakers we require a fresh untreated crude sample where we can begin to formulate the most effective and efficient product for crude dehydration. We will also guide our clients as to the best application method so that they may feel confident and satisfied that their process is optimized efficiently.

For paraffin solvents/dispersants we require a crude sample and solid wax sample from the well. From these samples we can determine the best and most cost-effective method of treatment for the following:

  • Paraffin solvent
  • Paraffin Dispersant
  • Paraffin Inhibitor

For Water clarification, testing is done onsite.

For Viscosity Reduction- Sample is collected and laboratory testing is done to determine the best-in-class product to be used.
